Admission & General Information

How much does it cost to attend the Surly Masher?

Admission to the Surly Masher is FREE; however, we do ask that you make a personal donation to Full Cycle.

Where can I park?

The Surly Masher is happening IN ADDITION TO regular business operations at the Brewery. This means that parking around the brewery will be limited. HOWEVER, we will have plenty of bike racks AND the brewery is blocks away from the Prospect Park LRT stop on the Green Line. Please plan accordingly!

Do I need to bring cash?

No. You will be able to use a credit card for most purchases.

If you do need cash, an ATM is available inside the brewery; HOWEVER, indoor purchases do NOT benefit Full Cycle. So if you do go inside to use the ATM, please come back outside to make purchases.

Can I go into the brewery?

Yes, of course. Normal Surly Brewing operations will happen IN ADDITION TO the Surly Masher. HOWEVER, please note that beers bought outside may not come inside and vice versa.

Is this a family-friendly event?

Yes! All are welcome at the Surly Masher.

Are dogs welcome at the Surly Masher?

Yes! Dogs are family too; however, you are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. If you fail to clean up after your dog, you will be asked to leave the event.

Why February?

The Surly Masher benefits Full Cycle – a non-profit bike shop dedicated to supporting youth experiencing homelessness throughout the Twin Cities by providing job training, support, and access to resources such as food, shelter, and transportation. Youth experiencing homelessness face countless challenges, including the weather. As a result, February is the perfect time to bring attention to the fact that some people don’t have a warm, secure place to hunker down during Minnesota's coldest months.
